Formed in the 1977/78 season and having a rich heritage, it is the purpose of the Maidstone and District Pool League to promote and organise regular fixtures and events throughout the year to allow teams to play pool in the Maidstone and District area. It is our mission to encourage competitive play that is open to anyone whom wishes to compete within the spirit of the game. Our aim is to increase the profile of the league and ensure as much information as possible is readily available for the benefit of all players. This will be accomplished by the use of the internet, local media and direct mailing. This website, has been developed to help achieve this goal and will contain as much information as possible for all to see and enjoy.

It is hoped that by encouraging more interest in the league we can attract new players and increase the profile of Maidstone Pool players throughout Kent and the United Kingdom. There are players from Maidstone that already play throughout Kent and some that appear in televised events. We wish to give everybody an opportunity to develop their skills to compete locally and nationally in partnership with the Kent County Pool Association and the English Pool Association.

The Maidstone and District Pool League is a non-profit making organisation run by a committee of volunteers solely for the benefit of all its members and anyone whom has an interest in the game of "Eight Ball Pool". We will continue to develop our organisation and procedures to achieve our goal of becoming the best league in the South East.
